NYC part 1

Luckily we had a chance to spend a few hours in New York City.

Yale

We actually visited Yale before Lawrenceville and New York City. It's a beautiful campus and parts of it looked like something out of a Harry Potter movie (specifically the Commons Dining. Unfortunately, we don't have a picture of it but if you do please contact us).

Admission officials first talked to us about Yale and what they looked for in applications.

Our very cool tour guide, we'll call him Todd.

The residence colleges, where students live.

The block building is actually a library which houses rare books.

These next two photos are actually a library

In the afternoon a student panel answered questions.

Lawrenceville School

Lawrenceville School is a preparatory boarding school near Princeton. We visit the school each year and one of the admission officials is an ILP alumni.

Classroom at Lawrenceville, notice the seating arrangements.

The fieldhouse used when it's snowing or raining outside.

A random but very cute dog walking around, it belongs to one of the faculty members.

Brown University

Students rapping/reading children's books at the Brown University Bookstore. To funny!

Picture time. Though rumor has it that this isn't exactly were you want to take pictures.

They were really down-to-earth and funny.

And finally. While killing some free time, we were witness to an epic dance-off!
